About Sara Lenz

I founded Lenz Law because I believe legal representation should be personal, responsive and focused on finding practical solutions—not one-size-fits-all advice. Every client and every legal matter is different, and I take the time to understand your unique circumstances before recommending a path forward.
My practice focuses on estate planning, probate and estate administration, trust administration, estate-related real estate matters, property matters and contract drafting and review. I enjoy helping clients navigate legal issues that often feel overwhelming, breaking complicated processes into clear, manageable steps while working toward efficient, cost-effective solutions.
My Philosophy
I believe legal representation should never be one-size-fits-all. Some clients need a simple will. Others are facing complicated probate, property, or fiduciary issues. Every matter deserves thoughtful preparation, honest communication and practical solutions tailored to the client's unique circumstances. My goal isn't simply to prepare documents or file court papers—it's to help people confidently navigate important legal decisions with an attorney they know they can trust.
Beyond the Office
When I'm not practicing law, you'll usually find me spending time with my son, who is a talented high school musician and proudly marches with The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. Watching him pursue his passion and travel across the country with Drum Corps International has become one of my greatest joys as a mom.
Adventure has always been an important part of my life. I love exploring places that are a little less traveled, whether that's backpacking through Central America, discovering hidden trails and small towns or setting out on spontaneous road trips. Many of those adventures include my two Australian Shepherds, Sonia and Ruth, who are enthusiastic hiking partners and frequent travel companions. Together we've explored national parks, mountain trails and countless miles of scenic backroads.
Sports have also been a lifelong passion. I still play indoor soccer on Sundays whenever I can, and no football season is complete without cheering on my hometown team - Go Chiefs! Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri, gave me an appreciation for community, loyalty and hard work, values that continue to shape both my personal life and my law practice today.
Whether I'm helping a family plan for the future, guiding a personal representative through probate or finding a creative solution to a complex legal issue, I approach every matter with the same qualities that guide me outside the office: curiosity, preparation, determination and a genuine desire to help people reach the best possible outcome.
